City Events

As with any city Derby can be a vibrant and entertaining place and on this page I intend to exhibit some photos of events that occur through the year.


Derby Feste 2011

The cities annual festival of contempory arts. Spread over two days the festival included a beautiful garden of fire on the Friday followed by performances of street art throughout the city on the Saturday. the whole event culminated with a parade based on the theme of the sea on the Saturday night.

Steam Fair

On the 24th October 2009 a small steam fair was held on Cathedral Green as part of the Heritage Open Weekend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Continental Market

A couple of times a year Derby plays host to a lively and colourful outdoor continental market. This particular one was photographed on the 24/10/09
